Jamie grew up in a family of healthcare professionals, is a proud cat mom of three, and never misses a good baseball game.
Jamie Alper earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and her Bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College. She is licensed by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, as well as the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board. Jamie specializes in helping individuals navigate life transitions, persistent mental illness, and identity exploration, including LGBTQIA+ care. Her approach helps patients “flip the script” on their life stories—changing their relationship to the past to build a healthier future.
