All high school students participating in sports must receive an electrocardiogram as part of their sports physical. The screening helps detect heart conditions that put young athletes at risk, and Premier includes it during the physical visit.

An electrocardiogram, or ECG, is a quick, painless test that measures the electrical activity of the heart.
Premier accepts most major insurance plans. A Discount Fee Program is also available for eligible patients.
Appointment times vary based on your child’s needs, whether forms are needed, and whether immunizations or an ECG are part of the visit.
Bring your insurance card or ID, your child’s immunization record, and any school or sports forms that need to be completed.
Back-to-school physicals are available at Premier pediatric locations across Pasco and Hernando counties.
